Jean-Paul Cossart

Jean-Paul Cossart began his professional career at Alcatel, where he was Design Engineer, then Product Manager and Marketing Director. He was subsequently responsible for various sales, marketing and business development departments at France Telecom.

A graduate of the Ecole Supérieure d'Electricité in Paris, Jean-Paul Cossart's experience has spanned the IT, telecom, internet and broadcast services. He has served on the board of the Financial Network Association and was a member of venture teams for the creation of Eunetcom, Atlas and Global One (now Equant). Jean-Paul Cossart has worked in Europe, Asia, the Middle East and the Americas and has launched and managed business units in Thailand, Singapore and France.

Jean-Paul Cossart is currently adviser to the heads of several IT-related companies in Europe and North America, actively implementing new business propositions (eg wearable computer devices, automotive IT). He is also member of the boards of Mitel Networks and Dragonwave, Canada and of the Institute of Directors (France).
